So, I decided I was going to update it. I was starting to upload concert galleries, when I realized I did not even have a gallery dedicated to abandonment. One of the only reasons I even bought a camera was to document my explores. Yet, I did not have a single gallery featuring some of my favorite shots.
As I started build a gallery, I remembered why I have never created a gallery.... Between shooting shows, abandonment, travel, being a father, husband and still working full time, there's just not enough time in the day. So I have to cut corners to make time. One of those corners that regularly gets cut is organizing my abandonment images. My hard drive is littered with them, some in files, some randomly saved to my desktop, my downloads, and on multiple external hard drives. Unfortunately, this is going to be a major work in progress. So this gallery is just the start, but it's a start.
Take a look, let me know what you think

And yes, they're a hard band to open for, but Le Butcherettes lived up to the hype, with frontwoman Teresa Suarez Cosio (aka Teri Gender Bender), giving it her all. Check out the photos in the gallery below.
Platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated Fall Out Boy released their seventh studio album, M A N I A, earlier this year, and last night, they brought their massive tour to the Yum! Center. The Chicago natives were joined by Machine Gun Kelly and Gym Class Heroes for a night that won't soon be forgotten

A family emergency forced the Foo Fighters to cancel their October 2017 show at Rupp Arena, it was rescheduled for May 1st, 8 months later. But when they finally made it to Lexington, Grohl opened with the following apology: "Sorry we’re late. My bad". And then made up for it by playing 2.5 hours. Check out the photos from the show here:

Perry has released two songs from the collection thus far: “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley and “Bon Appetit” featuring Migos.
“I left my 20s and I’ve gone to my 30s,” Perry said of the album. “I’ve embraced. I’ve surrendered. I’ve healed some of my issues with my family, with my relationships. Today I’m sober but I don’t know about tomorrow! One day at a time, right? [Laughs] It’s all kind of beautiful. I built up Katy Perry and she was so fun. And I still am Katy Perry and I love her so much but, at the core, I’m Katheryn Hudson and I think that’s being revealed as I embrace who I really am.”
A full list of tour dates can be found at Perry’s website. Shots from the Louisville show can be seen at:

It was notoriously known for being one of the most overpopulated asylums in the US. At it's peak, over 2000 patients were crowded into it's small dormitory (some were forced to reside in it's attic). Worse, the asylum continually ran in deficit. So it did not have enough doctors to treat the patients or the funds to make advancements to it's conditions. Thus, it became more like a prison than a hospital. In fact, in addition to treating individuals with mental illness it, the hospital also housed murderers and rapists, and even some for just being considered promiscuous.
The asylum performed treatments ranging from lobotomies to electric shock therapy. Because of the few doctors on hand and staff, patients received less than 10 minutes of psychiatric therapy per week.
It's unknown how many patients died during it's operation due to poor record keeping. Many that died at the asylum were buried in unmarked graves behind the facility.
